Aisling Power
UNC Asheville, Fordham University
Ridgewood, NJ
Aisling has been tutoring math, physics, and test prep since 2016, working with students from middle school through college. She holds dual degrees in Mathematics and Physics from UNCA, as well as a Master’s in Business Analytics from Fordham University. During her academic years, she conducted research in biophysics and complex systems, exploring the intersections of biology, mathematics, and data science. Along the way, she discovered a genuine love for teaching—helping others make sense of challenging material and find confidence in their own problem-solving abilities.
Aisling’s tutoring style is personalized, patient, and insight-driven. She pays close attention to how each student learns—adapting explanations, pacing, and techniques to match their cognitive style and build on their strengths. Whether preparing for a standardized test or tackling a tough physics concept, Aisling helps students develop clarity, strategy, and confidence.
When she’s not teaching or working with data, Aisling is likely outdoors—hiking, climbing, camping, or traveling to explore new places and cultures. She’s also a devoted reader of epic fantasy and science fiction, always up for a great story that expands the imagination and explores other worlds. Whether navigating a trail or a well-built fictional universe, she brings curiosity, wonder, and a love of discovery to everything she does.
