For 2022 and early 2023, the official timetable is set in stone. We can also predict future years like 2024, 2025, and 2026 with confidence. These predictions have been updated in July 2022 to reflect the latest possible data.

Most scores from weekend tests are released 2–4 weeks after test day. Colleges differ in how long it takes to process scores after they receive them.

In-school testing starts on October 1, 2025 and ends October 31, 2025.

Educators can access the official downloadable score report PDF for printing and sharing with students in the K–12 score reporting portal. Educators can also see additional interpretive insights about students’ results.

If you’re administering SAT® School Day, PSAT 10, or PSAT 8/9 as part of your state testing program, please check with your state to confirm when scores will be available.

How to Use These SAT® Test Date Projections

These charts make it easy to figure out your best dates to take the SAT®. We typically recommend  two SAT® sittings. Your first test is a dress rehearsal or a dry run. Your second test is what we call your “Go for the Gold” test. This is the SAT® where you can aim to hit your target score.  Sometimes students take third and fourth tests–especially if they’re trying to polish or improve their superscore.

Our students average +250 point improvements on their composite SAT®. If we use superscores, our students are averaging +300 point gains.
